Hello! I am a portrait and wedding photographer bringing clients an affordable and customizable way to portraiture and wedding photography.
As a natural light photographer, I capture what arises in my photographic vision and what I feel is worth capturing in the moment. We live in a world full of beautiful colors all around us, which is what you will see in most of my art.
I want to embrace the love, fun and laughter in each session or wedding day and have that emotion forever treasured in your beautiful portraits. My only rule is to HAVE FUN!
Ashley’s Professional Journey
I came to the Emerald Coast after vacationing with my family in the Destin and 30A area. I quickly fell in love with the white sandy beaches. I was asked by my mom to take our family portraits while we were here since we don't all live close to each other. Just like that it seemed like two worlds collided for me in that moment. I knew that moving here and living out my passion for photography was the path I was meant to take. So a few short months later I moved here from Kansas City where I earned a Bachelors degree in Photography. After college,I interned for a highly recognized photographer in Denver, Co. named Sandy Puc. Learning from her instilled such a passion for the art and a strong desire to create more than just a picture for my clients. In 2004, I began Ashley Nichole Photography. I continue to keep up with the fast pace industry by furthering my education as needed. In 2012, I became a professionally certified Adobe Photoshop artist in both Photoshop and Lightroom. I attend learning seminars yearly and webinars as I see the opportunity for more growth, and I am an active member of the Professional Photographers of America organization as well as the local South Walton Chamber of Commerce. In 2016 and 2017, I was nominated and the winner of the Best in Destin Wedding Photographer category with the Destin VIP magazine. In 2017 & 2022 I was awarded the Best Beach Photographer in Walton County. Fun Facts About Ashley
I have the sweetest Husband who is also my best friend. We got married on leap day in 2020 and honeymooned in a campervan in New Zealand as the world around us shut down from Covid-19. The trip was a photographers dream! We love to golf together and travel in our RV on quick weekend trips.
In 2021, we decided to grow our family and began the adoption process. In August of 2022 we got the call that a sweet mama chose us for her daughter. On September 7th, 2022 we got to meet our daughter Hazel Louise. When I met her she was pure perfection and it was like our souls had known each other forever.
Ice-cream is my weakness and I very rarely share my dessert at a restaurant. I have a Maltipoo that I named after my camera, Canon. And a Mini Teddy Bear Goldendoodle named Wally. I am equally obsessed with them as I am photography. My biggest fear is snakes. If I see one on TV before going to sleep I am guaranteed to have nightmares about the slithery crawlers. I am the happiest on or in water. Swimming, paddle boarding, boating....anything. I recently declared myself an expert crab-leg cracker/eater.

Panama City Beach, 30A, Miramar Beach, and Destin. Some areas I may not travel to during high season.
If you want to go off the beaten path and away from the beaches, Eden State Gardens is a beautiful backdrop for any session.
